- Make sure all valves are in the closed position
- Backseat air regulator
- Connect high pressure hose to the
fitting on the back labeled "discharge
outlet"
- Connect outside air supply to fitting labeled "air inlet"
- Connect either outside water line or portable reservoir line to fitting labeled "water inlet"
- Connect DSG-20 high pressure gun to the opposite end of the high
pressure hose
- Turn the water and air valves to the open position.
- Open valve labeled "bleed valve"
- Slowly turn regulator clockwise until the high pressure pump strokes
around once every 2 seconds (water will discharge out of the drain on the
back of the system)
- When there is a "solid" flow of water discharging out of the drain,
backseat the air regulator and close the bleed valve.
- Turn the air regulator
clock wise until 2000 psi is achieved, located on the discharge psi gauge.
- Depress DSG-20 gun trigger and hold for ten seconds allowing water to
flush through the high pressure hose and gun.

- Close the air valve and depress DSG-20 gun trigger
- Connect the desired lance onto the lance adapter located on the DSG-20
gun. *make sure collar is tightened completely on the lance
- Turn air valve to the "on" position
- Slowly turn the air regulator "clockwise" until the desired working
pressure is achieved *important! 18,000 psi max
To acclimate to the reaction force of the gun, stop at 3000 psi
intervals and depress the DSG-20 gun trigger keeping one hand firmly
onto the top of the gun and the other hand firmly on the handle.
PACKING EXTRACTION TECHNIQUE
Place the tip of the lance on the packing in the stuffing box.
Maximum efficiency is obtained when you allow the system to build back up to the operating pressure (15,000 PSIG) between "blasts" - restoring
the kinetic energy available to do the job.
After the system reaches operating pressure (15,000 PSIG) - produce short, (1/2 sec.) "blasts" until the packing is dislodged-
or dissolved.
MAINTENANCE
KEEP your HPZ-95 Mini-Water Jet Packing Extraction System
working at peak performance.
- Clean the water filter (item 11) periodically - after each job.
- Should your HFZ-95 be unable to reach maximum discharge
pressure (20,000 psi), the High Pressure Water Pump (item 5)
may require a new seal kit.
- Should your hand gun begin to leak a repair kit may be required.
- Keep both kits in your stock.
